Munch & Music - July & August

The Drake Park Munch & Music free concert series was founded in 1991 by Cameron Clark Concert Productions to provide families of Central Oregon with the opportunity to gather and strengthen the bonds and associations of the community while enjoying the arts, outstanding food and free music once a week. With a safe, energetic and positive gathering, we are proud to provide dependable opportunities for youth to gather, work, volunteer and take pleasure in their community. It is our intent to accomplish all of this in a way that is completely respectful of the adjacent neighborhood.

On behalf of Munch & Music, we are pleased to welcome all to attend this year’s Drake Park Munch & Music Free Concert Series presented by The Bulletin and Bend Memorial Clinic. Join us Thursday nights as we offer you the uniquely free opportunity to gather and enjoy free music, great food, arts and crafts, and a Youth Area in Drake Park. Per city code, please leave the dogs at home.

Learn more about this season’s performers, booths and guests at the Munch & Music website.

Munch & Movies - August & September

With the waning of summer and the closing days of Munch & Music, Munch & Movies picks up with new family friendly festivities starting Friday nights in August. The event officially starts at 5:30pm with live performances by local musicians - with each night featuring a different musical guest who will double as the MC for the evening. Movies will begin at dusk and there will be a brief intermission. There will be dinner food, dessert, and kettle korn available from one of many restaurants on site. Come and enjoy free films on the big screen ranging from classic horror, unsurpassed comedy, moving drama and exciting action.

Be sure to come early to find a good parking spot, and bring a coat as the nights can get chilly. We also recommend you bring a blanket to sit on or a low-backed chair, so it does not block the view of other moviegoers.

For more information on movies, show times, vendors and special performances, visit the Munch & Movies website.

Live at the Tower Concert Series - September - May

The Tower Theatre has been a landmark for downtown Bend for years with its distinctive neon building front. The Tower Theatre holds the prestigious reputation of presenting extremely tasteful and artful productions within its walls, be it traditional theater, film or musical performances.

For the Tower Theatre’s “Live at the Tower” concert series, C3 Events was brought on board to handle the bulk of the production duties – which included finding and booking musical acts to overseeing band hospitality and stage setup for the actual performances. Since then, the “center stage” of Central Oregon has been graced by such legends as jazz and blues performer Dr. John to singer/songwriter Gregg Brown; from the rhythms of Ladysmith Black Mambazo to the grace of the Ballet Folklorikco.

For information regarding the Live at the Tower series, visit the Tower Theatre website.

Bend Fall Festival - October

Summer may be fading, but the skies are still sunny enough for short sleeves, the air is crisp, fresh, and tinged with the scent of cool nights, and the leaves are just beginning to turn. And the Bank of the Cascades Bend Fall Festival — a homey harvest celebration with good-natured competition, kid-happy fun and arts of all kinds — is the perfect way to ease the spirit into the delights of the new season. Producer Cameron Clark of C3 Events enjoys watching what the event brings to the community. “It truly feels like the locals come out to say good-bye to summer,” he said.

Come join us and enjoy the celebration! Hundreds of artisans will be on hand offering their works for sale. Several musical artists and entertainers will grace the Main Stage and International Stage with their talents; and of course, attendees can enjoy the cuisine of several local restaurants.

Head to downtown Bend the first weekend of October for the Bank of the Cascades Bend Fall Festival and put your summer-end blues to rest!

Check out this season's performers, artists and vendors at the Bend Fall Festival website.

On a Clear Winter's Night - December

Saxon's Jewelers, On a Clear Winter’s Night, is a holiday tradition in Bend. Each year the Tower Theatre is transformed into a winter holiday wonderland complete with Christmas Trees, lights and gifts. The musicians perform many of your Christmas favorites - jazzed up of course - as well as their own original music. In the past, C3 Events has welcomed contemporary jazz greats such as Brian Culbertson, Richard Smith, Freddie Ravel, Eric Marienth, Jeff Lorber, Ray Parker Jr., Warren Hill and Jeff Golub.

For more information regarding the annual Christmas show, check out the Clear Winter’s Night website.
